Prayer & Devotional Groups
Marian Movement of Priests Cenacle
The Marian Movement of Priests is a private association of Catholic clergy and lay associate members founded by Italian priest Fr. Stefano Gobbi in 1972. While visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Fátima in Portugal he felt himself inspired to begin this work, whose principal emphases are to encourage Consecration, especially of priests, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and whole-hearted fidelity to the Magisterium of the Pope.
Meets to pray the Cenacle prayers including the Holy Rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament

Weekly Devotion to St Michael and the Angels
We come together as a parish community to pray for the intercession of our patron St Michael and the Angels. The Chaplet of St Michael and Benediction is part of the devotion.

Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, serves the Church, the mystical Body of Christ on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries.
Here at St Michael’s, legionary work (under the direction of the parish priest) includes taking Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass; facilitating the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Extreme Unction, visiting parishioners in their homes on behalf of the parish priest; catechizing primary public school students; accompanying and instructing those who would like to enter the Catholic Church (RCIA) and organizing and giving instructions to the parish children who are receiving the sacraments of Confirmation, First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation.

Sacramental Program
This is a collaboration between St Michael’s Parish and St Mary Star of the Sea primary school. It covers the Sacraments of Confirmation, Holy Communion and Reconciliation for all parish children.
